Yesterday's morning was beautifully sunny, prompting me to go fishing at the Nepean River in Castlereagh. I used garden worms and Woolies prawns as bait. Over six hours, I reeled in three Catfish, a few undersized Australian Bass, and surprisingly, two turtles. Catching turtles was unexpected; it had never happened to me before. Within 30 minutes, I caught both of them. My intention was to film some impressive fish, but instead, I ended up filming turtles.
Rest assured, they were safely unhooked and returned to the water.
Enjoy fishing, tight lines!
